One of our family's traditions when we go up to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house for Thanksgiving is that we help them with their Christmas decorating before we leave. Here are we four olders, putting greenery, lights, and bows on the front stair rails.
We were able to find a tree at the Clinton Wal-mart, which was a big praise! Grandmother was not looking forward to driving all the way to Conway (45 minutes away) to get one before we left. Granddaddy is always in charge of getting the tree upright in the stand and then getting it through the doors into the living room.
Grandmother instructed Laurie on how to put the lights all around....
....then Gretchen, Reagan, and Heidi (mostly Reagan) put on all the ornaments.
It's quite a job, but of course many hands make light work!
